Circuit-Est offers a contemporary dance workshop adapted to the needs and abilities of people aged 50 and over. Through these workshops, participants will have the opportunity to experience moments of exploration, expression, and sharing through dance.

This workshop is an original idea by Sarah Dell’Ava in collaboration with Circuit-Est centre chorégraphique.

Instructors

Dance artist passionate about exploring new ways of understanding the body in motion. For over 15 years, she has offered inclusive, learner-centered dance experiences. Certified in the Axis Syllabus and active in its research network for eight years, she has refined her practice in Germany, the United States, and Benin. She is currently completing a master’s in dance at UQAM, exploring the connections between the heart and embodied, experiential learning.

Dance artist based in Montreal, whose work intersects contemporary interpretation, Drag, live art creation, research, teaching, and artistic support. Their practice is rooted in sensory exploration as a tool for activism, informed by Continuum and various somatic approaches. Active in the performing arts scene, they also design collective projects in rural areas fostering reflection and the sharing of engaged practices.

Trained in butō with Mario Veillette and other masters, this artist has performed with various companies and collaborated with multiple creators. A graduate in choreography from Concordia and recently of a master’s at UQAM, she develops a practice nourished by imagination, somatic education, and meditation, creating sensitive and poetic worlds grounded in a spiritual quest.

Originally from France and a graduate in dance interpretation from UQÀM, this artist collaborates with Mélanie Demers, Stefania Skoryna, Cai Glover, Rozenn Lecomte, Liv Lockwood, and Bouge de là. At the intersection of dance, theater, and singing, she develops projects where art, care, and community meet, notably with Sarah Dell’Ava, Aurélie Pedron, and Emmanuel Jouthe. Co-founder of Le Bercail and the Sacre Jam! collective, she teaches and continues her training in contemporary dance, flamenco, and singing.
